Dr. Dawn Runge, D.C.

Dr. Dawn Runge holds a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri; just outside Dr. Dawn’s hometown of St. Louis, Missouri.

Before Chiropractic school, she worked in experiential and Public Relations in highly stressful and corporate climates. She began focussing on her own fitness and wellbeing and, after entering a fitness competition and feeling her vitality grow with exercise and healthy food, she sought out a field where she could help people in pain, aid in the prevention of injury related surgeries, and reduce the need for patient’s dependence on serious pain medication. Chiropractic soon became a passion to share with others.

After finishing her Master’s and Doctorate, Dr. Dawn spent 2 years in the Sub-Saharan African country of Namibia, creating a NEW satellite Chiropractic Practice, alongside her mentor in that country, Dr. Elga Drews. Dr. Dawn was able to see many interesting, complex and rewarding cases, helping thousands receive specialized care. She worked  closely with many healthcare professionals in a multi-disciplinary healthcare center and gained a wide range of medical experience from her time in Africa.
Dr. Dawn recently returned to the U.S. and decided that Los Angeles would be a great fit for some of her passions, such as hiking and intercultural experiences. Dr. Dawn also writes for an electronic music website, loves dancing, and is an avid traveler (currently at 20 countries and counting).  Dr. Dawn has Celiac disease, and also loves trying new recipes to adapt favorite dishes and trying new gluten-free restaurants. She is a Licensed Nutritionist and loves to help others heal their complex medical issues with food.
Her Chiropractic treatments combine stretching, muscle therapy, nutritional and exercise advice. Her highest passion is patient education to help them improve the quality of their lives.
